Toning Body Oil

 

This detoxifying blend of essential oils promotes a healthy lymphatic system and tones and firms skin. Rosemary and peppermint combine a diuretic effect with stimulating and decongesting properties, while lemon stimulates the lymphatic system. Mandarin essential oil also has a diuretic action, and when massaged into the skin can help reduce the appearance of stretch marks.

How to make

Combine all the ingredients in a bowl, then transfer the blend to a sterilized dark-glass bottle and seal with a cap or dropper, ready for use. Store the blend in a cool, dark place. It will keep for up to 3 months.

Best uses

– As a massage oil Massage into the skin with upward circular movements, paying particular attention to any areas of dry skin. For maximum effect, dry brush skin with a soft-bristled body brush to remove dead skin cells before using the oil.

Makes 11/2 fl oz (45 ml)
Wheat germ oil 2 tbsp
Rosehip seed oil 1 tbsp
Peppermint essential oil 8 drops
Rosemary essential oil 5 drops
Lemon essential oil 4 drops
Mandarin essential oil 3 drops
